"Children are one third of our population and all of our future."
~Select Panel for the Promotion of Child Health, 1981

The Foundation for Foster Children provides funding for both child-specific grants and foster children program grants. Other funding is generated through collaborative grant requests. As part of our fundraising efforts, an emphasis is placed on raising community awareness of the needs of foster children. We seek a variety of contributions from individuals and organizations, including monetary donations, in-kind gifts and advocacy on behalf of foster children.

The Foundation for Foster Children serves foster children in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole County through the following programs:

Even foster kids need a childhood...
This postcard was created by a foster child.
Imagine earning the grades to graduate but missing out on commencement because you can't afford a cap and gown. Or dropping out of sports or the school band because you can't pay your fees or buy a uniform. The Foundation for Foster Children's Fostering Success service provides funds for the activities that every child deserves to explore and enjoy.

Fostering Success Grant Process
The foster child's case manager should complete a referral for funding community-based athletic, arts or music lessons, field trips, school activities, cultural event, and other normalcy events directly to the Foundation for Foster Children office.  Once the Foundation receives the referral, we will contact the caregiver directly to discuss the requested activity and notify the caregiver when approval is granted. A referral does not guarantee services.
